I realized that my last piece just wasn't up to scratch! My Falke piece brought a lot of new supporters on-board and I haven't followed up and given you all another painting that was on that same level.

For that, I apologize. I hope this makes up for it.

This one was a 3hr... lots of cleanup, detailing and refining. It was great fun, especially when I started to really see the mech come to life. It's based in part on Andree Wallin's awesome mech tutorial video on YouTube even though I wasn't actually watching it while I painted - I've just watched it a lot and taken heaps of mental notes.

Might as well learn from the best!

Digital is great but a solid understanding of the more traditional methods is never a bad thing.

Go with whatever you're most comfortable with.
